It's That Ruffley Stuffley Too Much Sparkle time of year again!

No, let's be serious. It's Christmas day and I can't sleep because my pattern's all out of whack. So whatever. Let's shop for dresses.

Seventeen is no help. Or Odette Christiansen. Or BCBG. Or Alyce Designs.

I need something classy. No princess, no tulle, And nothing short.

I need something grown up.

I'm really looking for something in the mood of LeAnne's fabulous wedding gown from the finale of Season 5.

My date (bless him) is going for something a little crazy. He had a green tux last year, which I adored, I'll be honest. We looked super fun, too. I believe my favorite compliment was something to the effect of "80's tastic", for obvious reasons.

I loved this. We looked fun and fabulous and so much cooler than all the upperclassmen.

So how on Earth do we top it?

My stipulations are pockets and floor length. I'm so wearing Tom's with this dress. Which means it must be wonderful.
